Vigil Report #34

Hello! Here's what's left to do before the playtest.

HIGH PRIORITY FOR PLAYTEST

- Finish some things for Steam / Itch.io page.
- Music + Sounds. I never think of this as being a priority, but it really adds to the experience even if most people play idlers on mute.
- Small intro.
- A couple lewd animations.
- A couple more behaviours / anims for both. Praying, being in the back / Idle-ing...

MEDIUM PRIORITY, NOT FOR INITIAL PLAYTEST

- Flesh the shop + journeys.
- Different outfits.

POSSIBLE THINGS THAT I COULD EXPAND, IF PEOPLE LIKE THE GAME

- More interactive objects / behaviours associated with them.
- More interactions between the two.
- Training (costs money) / working (earns money).
- Select different places to go when Invicta goes journeys.

No need for explanations, video is easier.

Marvelous video skills.

This first half of the month was drawing, fixing bugs, coding... I got the hang of complex behaviours + easy to add them, I've streamlined it for my necessities. I'm starting to really like the girl, the same way I liked the Love Inn girls!

Even if it's never stated, I've given her some backstory, and left some ideas open in case this expands in the future.

For the portrait / cover of the game, I needed to give her some clothes and it took me a bit longer than anticipated.

Wanted her to have aura. WIP.

Reading Umineko no naku koro ni with the gf! I enjoyed the animes of Higurashi and Umineko way back, and I've been wanting to give the VNs a shot for a while now. The portrait that I'm gonna use for Steam is heavily inspired by the Beatrice portrait.

Also, in September Ryukishi07, the creator of the novels, is coming to Madrid to an expo, so that'll be fun!

Had some IRL busy days this first half of the month, but now this second one I don't have anything so I can grind like a mf. In next devlog there's probably gonna be a date for the playtest. See you soon!

Fantastic artwork. The heat wave that has come full force seriously sucks... I can't even sweat out the heat anymore. Too humid. Vigilia has a real nice font for the title page. Great to see much inspiration and further conceptualization behind the game. Best of luck.. I hope it isn't burning too harshly on your end. It's been constantly +30 C and high humidity.
