BOING BOING EDITION


Rundown of the week!

Worked on a bathroom system so characters can go to the toilet on their schedules. Pretty sure I can't post that on public so I shared a preview a couple days ago. Here's a quick video of it:


I didn't intend on being able to talk to characters from the other side of the stall wall, but that will allow some fun things, so I embraced it.

We had a poll about how spying will work in the game, and the votes were 10 vs 1 in favor of it being a "separate" thing from the free-roaming, which means in exchange more freedom to do crazier stuff.

I've been implementing Ume, Keiko's little sister in the game, which manages the cafeteria outside the ryokan. We won't be able to visit her at her work until I start expanding to the outside, but the time will come.


Alongside the handyman, which will allow the MC to buy stuff from him on certain days of the week (though of Wednesdays and Saturdays, open to suggestions).

I've also slowly been adding some QOL stuff: opening and closing of menus with right clock mouse, fullscreen support, disabling mouse wheel input on dialogue, having a small indicator on the bottom right when you can interact with things...

I'll start work today on events, as I really want to push for a snapshot for tiers 3 for the end of the week. 

Also, if you follow One Piece... DAMN! Title is a sneaky reference to G5!
